What is the most desired Goldendoodle? ›

F1B Goldendoodles

An F1B Goldendoodle is 25% Golden Retriever and 75% Poodle. This generation has become the most popular generational breed largely because F1B Goldendoodles are non-shedders most of the time. Because of this this, F1Bs are great for families with moderate allergies.

They're Easy to Train

Punishments such as hitting or shouting at a Goldendoodle are not recommended and can inhibit the Doodle training process. Crate training and alone time training are highly recommended, as Goldendoodles can suffer from separation anxiety.

The rarest Goldendoodle color is generally considered to be the Merle coat pattern. This mesmerizing pattern features marbled or swirled colors with patches or speckles, such as blue merle or lilac merle.

Because doodles are mixed breeds, Westminster doesn't recognize them; ditto for the American Kennel Club (AKC), which at this point recognizes 174 varieties dating to its 1884 founding - but not doodles. "It's a trend people have bought into who want something different," says AKC spokeswoman Lisa Peterson.

Which Goldendoodle cost the most? ›

Those with wavy and curly coat types are more expensive as their coats don't shed (or don't shed too extensively). This means that wavy and curly-coated Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic. Because of that, they are in higher demand, making them more expensive than straight-coated Goldendoodles.
